Meet the Researcher
Lauren Todd is a lifelong Pennsylvanian and is currently a Philadelphia resident. She graduated from Plymouth Whitemarsh High School in 2003, Boston University in 2007 (where she attained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree), and is currently finishing up her Master's degree requirements at Eastern University, located in PA.
The Ending Food Waste research study is for Lauren's graduate thesis project. She hopes to graduate May 2017 with a Master's of Arts degree in Urban Studies, with a focus on therapeutic arts in the community context. She is passionate about the arts, food, the outdoors, building resilient communities, and social justice.
If you are a member of Weavers Way Co-op in Northwest Philadelphia, you may recognize Lauren. She has been on staff at the Chestnut Hill co-op location for almost four years and is even on the cover of the co-op brochure! She is a also a member of Weavers Way's Food Justice Committee.
